Unique usage Mi.1 and Mi 2 on a single 1858 letter to Vilnius. One of the gens of Polish and Russian Philately!

At our Annual Meeting at Boston 2026, we were very fortunate to have Bodgan Pelc present “Imperial Russian Stamps –their classification and usage in the Kingdom of Poland 1858–1915”.  This fascinating presentation showcased many early and rare usages.  Bogdan is an PZF recognized expert for stamps of the First Republic of Poland, the Duchy of Warsaw, and the Kingdom of Poland in the years 1764–1915  .  He also \won a Large Gold medal at the 2026 Boston World Stamp Exhibition for his exhibit, “Postal History of Kingdom of Poland 1858–1865.”
