Newsletter 16 is now online!

We have now completed a major milestone in continuously publishing our newsletter for 4 years now.  It all started as a post-pandemic effort to provide more content to our members in lieu of in-person shows and the occasional Zoom meeting.  In this issue Dr. James Mazepa, presents two covers from the city of Płock from pre-stamp period in the “Kingdom” of  Poland (Russian Occupation) which began in 1815.  The article presents two different postmarks and asks you to decide if one is an error or nationalistic passive-aggressive behavior given the strong anti-Russian sentiment at the time.   The photo above presents one of these fascinating covers.  Click here to see Newsletter 16 for the entire article and other interesting features.
